Make- Ahead Slow Cooker Recipes

The link below opens a  document with 5 recipes that can be made ahead and frozen in a gallon ziploc bag.  Cook on low for about 8 hours or high for 4 hours.

 

 

 

Crockpot Taco Chicken

Combine chicken breasts and salsa in crockpot.

Cook on low about 8 hours.

Shred chicken and add fresh lime juice.

Use in taco salad or wrap in a soft taco.

 

 

Crockpot Red Pepper Chicken

Combine chicken breasts, chunks of onion, chunks of 2 red bell peppers and 1/4 cup olive oil in crockpot.  Season with salt and pepper.

Cook on low about 8 hours.

Serve with rice or other vegetables.
