Commanded
That's a bold, absolute word.
God uses that word for something that's basically impossible.
If you read the first part of the verse and hear the command, it will seem a bit outrageous as an expectation.
But - if you connect the first part with the second part -
the command + the promise = you find out what God is really saying.
The command is really about staying connected with the ONE, the ONE who is able.
The command is about understanding WHO is with you.
Read Joshua 1:9 and consider why you can be strong and courageous, wherever you go.
I'm not going anywhere without my Lord.
