Have you heard?

Have you heard about the injustice?

An innocent man sentenced to die.

Taken in the night.

Wrongly accused.

Pawn of political agenda.

Indicted by an inflated, persuaded crowd.

Why?

So many whys.

Why didn't he fight?

No rebuttal

No plea

No mercy

No palm branches on Friday

Only love.

Love silent before hate.

Love speaking forgiveness to his enemies.

Love dying to pay a debt.

Love dying to pay for the sins of another.

Jesus Christ.

The Son of God.

Who's to blame?

Who will pay for this wrong?

It was my fault.

My sin.

My debt.

The greatest injustice of all time . . .

Blood on my hands

Mercy! Mercy!

All I can do is cry for mercy . . .

But He speaks.

He reaches down.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him will not die but have eternal life. - John 3:16

My Redeemer!

But God demonstrates His own love for us in this:

While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8

Yes! He knew!

He knew the price, and He knew my sin.

He called me before I repented.

He called me before I was clean.

He died while they yelled.

He died while they hated.

And now -

He lives!

What they meant for evil,

God meant for good.

The greatest injustice of all time

brought salvation to the world.

A rescue plan.

A victory that baffled them all.

Death is swallowed up in victory! - 1 Cor 15:54

Don't just hear the plan of salvation -
Receive the gift of salvation.

Have you heard?

Jesus chose the cross for you.

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!”

And let the one who hears say, “Come!”

Let the one who is thirsty come;

and let the one who wishes - take the free gift of the water of life.

- Revelation 22:17

But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed. - Isaiah 53:5

He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet He never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, He did not open His mouth. - Isaiah 53:7

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 6:23

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on them. - John 3:36

God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago. - Ephesians 2:8-9

Have you heard?

Have you told?

Has the LORD redeemed you?

Then speak out! Tell others He has redeemed you from your enemies. - Psalm 107:2
