What can separate us from the love of God ❓❓
NOTHING ❗❗
of course! We know that.
But - stop and think about what that really means.
We often feel like all kinds of things have busted our relationship with God.
But - God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
Nothing gets in the way of His love. It never has. It never will.
We expect Him to pull back or change His mind, the way people do, but God can never be compared to a person. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is stable.
He is not dependent on our behavior or the circumstances of life.
He does not NEED us or NEED reciprocation the way a person does.
His side of the covenant holds true.
