There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Now.
Before - there was.
Now - there is not.
No condemnation.
This is huge! Don't forget how huge this is.
The contrast of then and now = before Jesus and after Jesus
We can actually stand before the Father covered, redeemed, innocent.
We try to cover ourselves. Pretend and mask.
Sometimes we do it so well that we fool ourselves.
But - I'm not good. I'm a sinner, filthy and condemned.
I know the real me, the real stuff, the inside.
Jesus has changed everything. - He's paid for everything.
I can go to the Father.
I can go to the courtroom and leave unsentenced, free - but even more -
welcomed into the arms of the Judge, brought in as family, and celebrated.
Everything is different NOW.
And we can experience the NOW, if we truly understand the gift.

We are free - NOW - free from sin.
Jesus paid our debt, but His Spirit is also setting us free right now from the power of sin.

Life in the Spirit is NOW.
New life, righteous life, fruitful life.
